My first legitimate rejection has come to pass. According to the rejection game (viewable here) I get points for all rejections that come from a reputable source. Since I submitted a short story to a magazine, and it was rejected, I get 25 points. By losing, I have won. And by winning… I would be winning, now wouldn’t I? What follows is my rejection.
“Thank you for your recent submission to Mikrokosmos, Wichita State University’s literary journal. Though your story was not selected for this year’s issue, we hope you will continue to supportMikrokosmos, and continue to share your work with us in the future.”
